I have to admit to not being a sports fan, but I am always intrigued at the passion with which managers, players and spectators all intricately evaluate performance.  Take a football match. Every move is watched fixedly, commentary analyses every play as it takes place, foot techniques and tactics are exclaimed upon and afterwards discussions about the match can go on endlessly. Every second of the match is monitored and evaluated with passion, lessons are learnt, outcomes are clear and no-one can wait until the next match to go through the whole process again.  And let’s not forget this whole process is essential for the team to keep improving, the management to support with knowledge, for the fans to stay connected and interested.  Everybody is involved, it is interactive and exciting.
